About Geranium

Not your beige little gift shop. 

Geranium is an independent gift and homewares store in Adelaide, filled with colourful, clever and very good things for your home, your people and occasionally yourself.

Because buying your own present is absolutely allowed.

Geranium started in a tiny shop on Halifax Street in 2023 with one fairly simple idea: finding a great gift should be fun.

Not generic. Not something you panic bought next to the supermarket checkout. And definitely not another thing destined for the back of a cupboard.

We hunt down colourful homewares, excellent gifts, beautiful blankets, very good candles, jewellery, things for tiny humans, things for the kitchen, games, pantry treats and assorted objects you probably did not know you needed until approximately five seconds ago.

Some come from brilliant Australian brands. Others are finds from further afield. The common denominator is that they have to earn their spot at Geranium.

In 2026 we have popped up at 259 Rundle Street, Adelaide, while working on something much bigger: our new flagship store at the Adelaide Central Market.

And who is behind all this?

Hi. I’m Kimberlee.

I spent about 30 years in tax, accounting and finance and apparently decided spreadsheets were not providing sufficient colour.

I have always been the person who wants to know where you bought the lamp, the vase, the excellent birthday present or the ridiculously good tea towel. Geranium is essentially that instinct turned into a shop.

I source things I genuinely love and things I think you will be very pleased to have found.

The goal?

For someone to open a Geranium gift and immediately say:

“Where did you GET this?”

That is pretty much the whole brief.
