Meet Otto Lady Fish. She stands bolt upright with her mouth wide open, ready to swallow a bunch of flowers whole. Polite? Not especially. Unforgettable? Absolutely.
She's one of four vases in Ottolenghi's Sicily collection for Serax, hand painted with Sicilian artist Ivo Bisignano in spots and loose brush strokes of every primary and secondary colour going. The collection is a nod to the Testa di Moro, the crowned ceramic heads that sit on balconies all over Sicily, with a slightly surreal fishy twist.
Pop a few stems in her mouth, or leave her empty on the sideboard. Either way, she's the first thing anyone asks about.
