This joyful little blanket from Tweedmill is woven from 100% pure new wool in a glorious jumble of rainbow stripes.

A little note on the size: at 68 × 73 cm, it’s almost square rather than your usual long, rectangular pram blanket. It’s designed as a smaller blanket for tucking around little people in the pram, bassinet or car seat, rather than a full-sized cot blanket.

And because babies are not particularly well known for keeping things clean, it’s machine washable. Excellent.

Finished with colourful fringe tassels and a blanket-stitched edge, it makes a rather fabulous new baby or baby shower gift.
